SOCIAL PROJECT

Kroché is done by people, specially when we talk about the project “Weaving a New Way”. Inspired by her great grandmother, who had difficulty to re-place herself in the labor market, Lígia Frick decided to create the project that would unite her passion for the manual works and the wish to value the labor of the third age. From this initiative, the craftswomen began to meet in groups, at the houses of the friends to do crochet, to talk and to give a new sense to life.

Gradually, the project was gaining more and more soul and affection, which they turned into the Kroché bags. Nowsdays, the project hugs women of all ages and counts on 10 craftswomen, who had their lives transformed through the art of crochet. Be for the one who produces or for the one who consumes, “Weaving a New Way” is the new form of looking at the fashion market. A conscious way, with affection and value.
